Summer M. Sneed
Administrative Manager
Summer is the Administrative Manager for Gaskin Asset Management and serves the staff and clients with a smile. She manages client logistics, including opening and closing accounts, deposits, and documentation. She spearheads office workflow, living into her sweet spot of ensuring efficiency and functionality. She also works closely with Bob to respond to compliance and regulatory issues. Her friendly disposition and desire to help are assets to our clients and our staff.
Summer has been a Tar Heel since birth and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. She spent time in public television at UNCTV, then worked at various public relations agencies managing internal and external communications, governmental affairs and grassroots campaigns for clients. She was chosen as one of the Greenville’s “Best and Brightest Under 30”* by Greenville Magazine when she worked for Brett Public Relations in South Carolina.
This is a second career for Summer. She now holds the Series 7 – General Securities Registered Representative – and the Series 66 – Uniformed Combined State Law. She has learned the extensive language of finance and enjoys being a part of the Gaskin Asset Management family.
Summer loves camping (mostly sitting by the campfire) and is very musical. She attends Providence Baptist Church and enjoys singing in the Sanctuary Choir and leading a mom’s group. She is a proud mother to Brady, who works as an accountant in Charlotte, and Hartley, who is at UNCW studying graphic design. She counts her little schnoodle Bobbie Mae as her third child, who thinks she rules the roost (and probably does).
